Newsong kids

At Newsong Kids, our desire is to partner with families to help their children know God, enjoy His word and learn to pray.

Our children’s ministry meets during our Sunday service from 9:15 AM to 11:30 AM. During our Sunday service, we have age-appropriate lessons, songs and activities to teach your child about who God is, and how His Son, Jesus, affects our everyday lives. Our Sunday School has three different age groups:

Nursery (6mo-2yrs)

Our Nursery class is available for infants and toddlers ages 6 months to 2 years old. Infants younger than 6 months are welcome to join our nursery class as long as their parent/guardian is with them. Our teachers are available to nurture and care for each child in a safe and friendly setting.

Preschool (3yrs-5yrs) & Elementary (K-5th)

In our Preschool and Elementary classes, we aim to teach each child “big truths that they can grow into” - Dr. Tedd Tripp. Our Sunday School consists of kid-friendly worship songs, a bible story from the Children Desiring God curriculum, and follow up activities and crafts that help each child discover who God is and how He shows His love for us through His Son, Jesus.

We want each child to be excited to share what they’ve learned with their family so that God’s word can be discussed and cherished in the home. Each week, your child will receive a coloring sheet that is connected with that week's story, includes the monthly memory verse and suggests topics that parents can use to talk about the lesson as a family throughout the week.

Our volunteers are required to have background checks and are committed to providing a safe and fun environment for each child. Each volunteer is committed to being intentional about taking every teachable moment, whether during formal lessons or informal free play, to teach each child about how God and the Gospel affects our everyday lives.
